damaka is standards based high quality, free communication and collaboration application software that uses damaka's innovative peer to peer technology.
It's very secure, addresses privacy issues better than anyone in the market today and provides superior voice quality communication.
How does damaka application work?
You need to download the free damaka application from the website, create a damaka ID and add contacts that you would like to communicate with. Once your contacts are online, you can start to communicate with them.
How do I get damaka application?
You need to visit damaka website's download page and click download now button once you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions.
Yes. All communication is end-to-end encrypted.
For non-commercial use, basic damaka application will be free. Some additional features and functionalities will have subscription charges or prepayment.
Currently, we support Windows 2000 and XP. We will be supporting other platforms soon.

How is damaka different from other applications?

How do I transfer a file with damaka?
To send a file with damaka:
1) Select Activity > Send a File > Send File to your Contact...
2) Your contacts window will open. Select a contact that is online (You cannot send a file to an offline contact)
3) A request will be sent to the selected contact.
4) The recipient will have to accept the request in order for file transfer to begin.
Is damaka File Transfer secure?
damaka File Transfer is very secure and reliable. Please make sure you check for viruses before sending a file to your contact.
Are there any limitations on file type or size for damaka file transfer?
No, there is no limitation on the file type. You can send any sort of file, including pictures, videos, music, documents etc. At this time, regular users cannot send files larger than 25 MB. There is no limitation for Enterprise and Service Provider version.
What are my responsibilities for the files that I send or receive?
You are responsible for sending or receiving any files to and from your contacts. Please make sure you do not violate any applicable local laws. This service is provided for the convenience of the users and is not to be misused for any illegal/un-lawful activities.
